Hulepatil Aviation Enters Aerospace & Defence
Hulepatil Aviation is expanding into the aerospace and defence sector with the planned induction of the Airbus Flexrotor, a tactical unmanned aerial system designed for intelligence, surveillance, target acquisition and reconnaissance missions. Airbus describes Flexrotor as a small tactical UAS built for ISTAR operations, with strong relevance for defence, government and critical surveillance applications.
This initiative marks an important step in strengthening India’s uncrewed aerial surveillance ecosystem. With its vertical take-off and landing capability, long-endurance mission profile, and ability to operate in remote and difficult terrain, the Flexrotor can support a wide range of government and strategic operations.
